All chicken and lamb dishes you find are nice in downtown. If you have only limited time in Jordan, try "Mansaf". It is the most popular traditional dish in Jordan. It is rice comes with cooked lamb meat on top and with a smelly soup called "Jamid" which is hot yoghurt. Pour jamid on the rice and enjoy the eccentric taste from the bedouin culture.
