Salt is a very old town (30km west of Amman) built on high hill. It's houses are built in a very unique and beautiful architectural design.
This house was build by a rich merchant. It has been under maintenance for many years. It is not opened to visitors yet, but fortunately I could get a special chance to go inside the building. You can see how the walls and the windows are renovated. If you look up in the third panorama, you can see the drawing on the ceiling. After this maintenance is completed, it will be opened for the public as a museum.
