I am not sure if this is done by the wind or not, there is some special place where we can see a lot of white salt formations. The natural moldings are eccentric and varied. Since this scene is introduced in many travel guidebooks and brochures, some people may make misunderstand that every where in the DeadSea is beautiful like this, but actually it's in very limited areas.

If you want to visit this place from Amman, you can go down the road beside the DeadSea from north to south, it is several minutes after you cross the big bridge on Mujib river. For most travelers, the only option to reach there is to charter a taxi. Go to look at this salt place, swim in the DeadSea and come back to Amman in 5 hours, a taxi is available for about JD 30, I think.
