I recommend Aqaba to the beginner divers. The sea is rich with corals and stable during the summer. The water is clear and no flow nor wave. It might be a good idea to take a license in Aqaba, get used to diving then go to other difficult diving places.

There are many diving shops in Aqaba. If you will take an Open-water license, it will cost you about JD 250 and three days.
