Azraq is a wetland 100km east of Amman. This place is important for migration birds and other species. But now it is a dry place.This was due to over pumping of its reserve of underground water. Now RSCN ( The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature ) is carrying out research to conserve this area and the species by filling water.
