Um Qais is a ruin town on top of high hill overlooking lake Tiberius to the northwest and Syrian Goran heights to the north. It's unique point is the bicolor stones. The Jordan river starts from this water-bed down to the Dead Sea making the border between Jordan and Israel. The Dead Sea is about 400m below the sea level and lake Tiberius is also 220m below the sea level.
